"CANNON BUSTERS" is a brand new comic book series by LeSean Thomas and co-developed by myself, Corey S. Lewis The REY. Due to creative differences, scheduling, jibba-jabba and whatever makes the comic industry go round, I happened to only illustrate NUMBER ZERO of the comic series. And now I am completely de-tached from the series as a whole. THAT makes this comic a rare collector's item. This book, Cannon Busters, saw about 3 years of development, about 3 different publishers, a slew of different creative talent supporting us on the book, and tons of comix dramarama!!! And I was around for basically the whole deal!!!! YOU ARE BIDDING on a SIGNED issue of Cannon Busters #0 (a convention-exclusive issue you can find no-where else) AND the ORIGINAL cover art!!!!!!!!!!!! The comic is 24 pages in length, in utterly MINT condition (it was sent to me directly from our publisher, Devil's Due), full color, features the 11 page intro story by ME, a flip-section featuring sketches by both myself and LeSean & an alternate cover by Skottie Young! (not shown, it's on the back). Naturally, it is signed by myself, REY, original Cannon Busters "G" and penciller/co-writer/letterer for the issue. The original cover art is drawn on 11x17" bristol comic stock with graphite and ink. It varies slightly from the final (I decided to alter the faces of the characters Samberry and Casey), and is crisp and clean and in good condition. Furthermore, it was drawn on DREAMWAVE stock comic paper (with the DW logo in the upper left hand and everything!) making this a TRULY bizarre and rare comic collectable.
